GUARDIANS OF THE THRESHOLD by ABYSS 607

Guardians of the Threshold is a glance into the mythological realms of Abyss 607. The Guardians, also known as the Seers are the deities that look over these dimensions and the ones that conceal the secrets within.

The show primarily focuses on the divinely archaic forms of the Seers and their engagement within these realms.
Abyss 607 is self taught and started painting and drawing the glyph inspired Seers within the streets of Canberra from 2009 and has since spent the last two years residing in and inspiring.

RED MEET by David Lee Pereira & WRUFFnTUMBLE

An exhibition of portraiture and installation crafted by David Lee Pereira and WRUFFnTUMBLE. It is the heartbeat of blood, pumping through body as we come face-to-face with that which has divided us for too long - stigma and fear.

RED MEET invites together many of the different faces of HIV, empowering them through the telling of their shared and individual stories, striking down the misconceptions and stigma surrounding connection and transmission through an exploration of texture and sensation.

MY DOGS & THEIR INTERNET FRIENDS by Michelle Phong

Obsessed by dogs and inspired by the childhood art form of potato printing but with grown up knife skills, Michelle Phong’s exhibition is titled “My Dogs & Their Internet Friends”.

No two dogs look exactly the same even though they may share the same appearance typical of their breed. The same is true of her prints; each time the potato is pressed, a unique dog face is printed but it also shares an appearance with its pack mates.
