ACROSS THE PLAINS
by TULL SUWANNAKIT-NOMADIC FOE

Across The Plains tells a story of the nomadic migration through the sacred alliance between humans and animals, as they embark on journeys in search for a new utopia.  The environments no longer act as places of comfort, but rather transient habitation of uncertainty and cultural differences.  Yet, amidst the struggle for existence in new and alienating terrains, humans and animals rely on one another for survival, comfort and everlasting friendship.

THERE, THERE // YOU'RE DEAD
by EMMA HAMPTON

There, there//You're Dead is a two part series of Emma Hampton’s show.

There, there -
"Then lullaby my youth, mine eyes,
My Will, my ware, and all that was." - George Gascoigne
A cosy little world full of comforting scenes and characters is portrayed in this detailed collection of pencil drawings.

You're Dead -
"Dehydrate back into minerals
A life-long walk to the same exact spot" - Isaac Brock
You're Dead explores the idea of returning to the earth upon passing and the new life that comes forth. A constant and never ending cycle of life and death playing out with elements as old as the universe. Uneasy yet colourful, these works hope to evoke a mixed sensation to the often heavy subject.
