ReView
by Andrea Sinclair
With inspiration drawn from anonymous
vintage home movies, Sinclair breathes life into forgotten or discarded footage by resurrecting moments captured within them. Emotional separateness adds to the mystery of these
enigmatic, dream-like images. This allows us
to bring our own stories to these works by connecting to a past that essentially does not belong to us. The use of vintage imagery provides a portal from this contemporary life allowing us to drift off into a distant internal place while the world around us keeps moving.

Urban Wonder Years
by Brad Pugsly
I have been interested in painting portraits
of some of my favorite artists in miniature form
on matchstick cards for the past couple of years. They include a mix of past music legends and today’s idols. I combine both vintage and handmade matchstick cards treating them
as though they are each unique
collectable trading cards.
