ART FOR UKRAINE - FUNDRAISER GROUP SHOW
The world is witnessing one of the most unjustified and callous attack on Ukraine. It is a genocide of innocent people like nothing
we have seen in a long time. Hospitals, kindergartens, homes, cultural institutions, and innocent civilians are being bombed, destroyed, murdered
and wiped out from existence. Whilst we cannot stop this war, we as a global community, the creative community can show our support in any way we can.
As you read this message, murals painted by local artists around the city of Melbourne that are dedicated to the plight of Ukraine are going up to raise
awareness, support and fundraise to provide financial assistance as well as provisions for those displaced.
Off the Kerb is pleased to partake in this action by sponsoring this large scale exhibition to raise funds for https://www.ukrainecrisisappeal.org/.
In official partnership with Caritas Ukraine, this charity meets the immediate lifesaving needs of the crisis-affected civilian population in Ukraine
and provides early recovery assistance immediately. Their goal is to save and preserve lives, ease suffering and promote self-sufficiency and safety.
We cannot do this without our artist community. This fundraiser exhibition has been made possible by the generosity of Melbourne's art community.
