Ford of Australia Design Studio employees will prove they’re not just handy with CAD-CAM programs when some of their work goes on show at an art exhibition in Melbourne next month.

Production Line – which is sub-titled ‘A group show by the Ford car designers creating art in their personal time’ – runs from February 15 to March 14.

The art on display at the aptly-named Off The Kerb Gallery in Collingwood showcases the work of 12 Ford designers in a variety of styles and mediums. And, as pointed out by Luke-Matthew Ray – one of the artist-designers being exhibited – it’s all been done away from Ford’s Campbellfield Design Studios.
