HOME
By Isabella Mack

Isabella works primarily with charcoal and paper creating large-scale figurative drawings. Her work subtly alludes to the complexities and shadows of everyday existence.  Her depictions of apparently banal human actions seek to contemplate and reveal the deeper psychological ambiguities of the human experience.
Her drawings also elicit a questioning of the viewer’s gaze. Mack’s depictions of women (often including herself) invite and challenge to question their role within the scene depicted, quietly exploring the nature of objectification, making the viewer implicit within the work.

OUTSIDE THE BOX
By Eddie Botha

Being different and unique is great but sometimes not easy. The concept of having to fit into the norm, status quo and assumed rules, are dissected and explored in this show in a humoristic way. Objects, beings and attitudes are thrown into socially awkward situations and positions.  Eddie aims to question our traditional ideas about sexism, nature, technology and social structures, including social media. Ultimately, the works are meant to entertain and make people smile.

DAYLIGHT / DARK NIGHT
By Sian Song & Erin Greer

Intrigued by the creatures that inhabit the daylight and dark night, Sian Song & Erin Greer combine forces to paint a window into the magical world of animals.  Both artists employ a whimsical and playful style to bring these creatures' narratives to life.
