OFF THE KERB’S 16TH ANNIVERSARY GROUP SHOW

Off the Kerb gallery is turning 16! And to celebrate sixteen years in the arts, we would like to invite you to join us in celebrating
this fantastic new group show themed around the four Elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire.

The ancient Greeks believed that there were four elements that everything was made up of - earth, water, air, fire. This has become
the cornerstone of philosophy for thousands of years.

Some theorized that the four elements describes the temperaments a person could have - sanguine (optimistic, social, and associated with the element of air),
melancholic (analytical, quiet, earth), choleric (short-tempered, irritable, fire), and phlegmatic (relaxed, peaceful, water).

Earth, water, air and fire also refer to our natural environment that we desperately need to preserve in our climate crisis.
